1999 Master degree in electronics engineering from the Superior School of Electronics (ESCPE), Lyon, France

2000 DEA (Postgraduate degree) in Digital Signal, Image and Speech processing from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble (INPG), France (mention bien)

2000-2001 Military service in the electronic war company in Orléans

2004 Ph.D. degree in signal processing and communications from the INPG

2004-2005 Teaching Assistant at the INPG.

2005-2006 Postdoctoral research fellow at France Telecom R&D

2006-present Maître de conférences (associate professor) with the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology (IEMN), Telecommunications, Interference and Electromagnetic Compatibility (TELICE) Group, University of Lille, France. My teaching is at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) of Lille.

Research activities : Signal processing for digital communications

High speed vehicle communications : I started to study the sensitivity of IFDMA (modulation for LTE) to synchronization errors. Then, my main topic is about joint channel estimation and synchronization for OFDM systems in the presence of mobility. In particular we consider high mobility where the Doppler effect breaks the orthogonality between subcarriers, giving rise to inter-carrier interference (ICI). We also study the superimposed pilot schemes.

Turbo receivers : we investigate the turbo approach to deal with the ICI due to high mobility. The turbo receivers are also being investigated in the context of superimposed pilots.

Cognitive radio : OFDM-based technologies present in cognitive networks are vulnerable to narrowband interference (NBI), and conventional channel estimation algorithms are expected to suffer. We propose new channel estimators abe to cope with NBI.

5G waveforms : we study the new waveforms which are candidate for 5G, especially UFMC and GFDM.
